Urunwa Art Studio in partnership with (AFD) AGENCE FRANCAISE DE DEVELOPPEMENTis pleased to invite you to an Exhibition which celebrates out of school kidsartistic talents themed: CATCH UP PROJECT, scheduled to hold on Friday May 27thby 4pm at Orisun Art Gallery, Tropic Mall, C.B.D Abuja.

Catch up is a therapeutic art project undertaken by Urunwa Art Studio in partnership withAgence Francias de Developmente'(AFD). The ideology proffered by CATCH UP is asystematic mindset change, through the concept and use of creative power of Art, whichassures a journey of fruitful legacy in high standard of education. Every child has the rightto learn hence ‘Show, don’t just tell’.

The psychological problem evident in out of schoolchildren is essentially one that stems from the kids’ experiences on these tough streets,and the lack of awareness about this unfortunate situation. A practical application of thesestudies lay in the teaching of anticipation, a very important quality for learning.

This projectalso sees that the kids get a full session scholarship and the fund gotten fromtheir art sales is also channeled to getting basic school needs
