Manchester United secured yet another win under interim manager Ole
Gunnar Solskjaer to end 2018 with a 4-1 win over AFC Bournemouth.
Marcus Rashford produced a stunning assit and set up Paul Pogba for United’s first goal just five minutes into the match.Pogba doubled United’s lead with a header to take his tally under the Norwegian to four goals and two assists.
Rashford scored the third his efforts deserved before Nathan Akeheaded home on
the stroke of half-time to deny United a rare clean sheet.
Romelu Lukaku scored the fourth within two minutes of coming on when he assistant referee failed to spot he was offside.
Eric Bailly was the only blot on United’s copybook when he was sent off for a late challenge on Ryan Fraser.
Speaking after the match, MySportDab report Paul Pogba told Sky Sports: “We
needed the win and we had a great performance as well. We are coming
back, and there is still a long way to go, but to finish the year like
that is beautiful.”
Asked about the difference playing under Ole
Gunnar Solskjær, Pogba said: “We are Manchester United and we need to be
at the top of the league, it is just a reaction of all of the players
and everyone is enjoying themselves.
“It is different, we still
won games with the old manager but it is just a different style of
playing, we are more offensive and we are creating more chances and that
is how we want to play.
“I always want to do more, but I want to play for the team and play simple.”
