You Need Him, He Has Quality – Paul Merson Tells Man United Who To Sign

Arsenal legend, Paul Merson has backed Manchester United to sign Christian Eriksen this summer.

Merson believes Man United need the Denmark international, adding that the midfielder is a quality player.

Eriksen has been linked with a move to Man United this summer.

The former Tottenham Hotspur and Inter Milan star is now a free agent after his six-month loan deal with Brentford expires this summer.

“One hundred percent, Christian Eriksen is the player Man Utd have been calling out for. He’s a quality player, top drawer. He sprays the ball round the pitch, makes things happen,” Merson told Sky Sports.

“That is what they need. A lot of teams come to Old Trafford and there is no fear factor anymore, so the game will open up and he can break people down. I’m a massive Eriksen fan, I’m surprised every club in the country was not after him. I mean that would be a massive coup for Man Utd.”
