Fans of the late Nigerian artist Ilerioluwa Aloba, also known as Mohbad, descended on Unity Fountain in the Federal Capital Territory’s central business area on Friday night for a candlelight parade to demand justice for the late singer’s passing.
At precisely 7 o’clock in the evening, the candlelight parade that “Mohbad Abuja Fans” had organized began.
As a final act of respect and homage, the demonstrators, who were wearing white T-shirts, played and danced to the late performer’s songs.
The actresses Tonto Dikeh, Empress Njamah, and actor Shaheed Balogun were among the famous people our reporter saw at the event, despite the fact that a number of them had previously confirmed their attendance.
